Jim most recently served as Senior Vice President, Appvion (previously Appleton Papers)––makers of specialty coated paper and micro-encapsulation. At Appleton Jim tripled annual EDITDA for the Thermal Paper segment, driven by >15% pa sales growth; before that, at NewPage he produced growth of 3% in an industry declining -4%. Some of his NewPage success was supported by working closely with DPVG to bolster current-business strategy & successfully explore & then develop new technology with major sustainability advantages.
